Agreement to Terms

By booking a service with GOAT Exterior Services (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms govern your use of our window cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, Christmas light installation, and other exterior services in London, Ontario and surrounding areas. Please read them carefully before scheduling any service.

Service Booking and Confirmation

Submitting a quote request or booking form does not guarantee service availability. Your appointment is only confirmed once you receive direct confirmation from our team via phone, email, or text message. We make every effort to accommodate your preferred scheduling, but availability may vary based on season, weather, and demand.

About Our Service Team

GOAT Exterior Services operates with a dedicated team of trained professionals and owner-operators who are committed to delivering exceptional results. All team members are trained in proper safety protocols, equipment handling, and customer service standards. We take pride in the quality and consistency our team provides on every job.

Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service at any time if conditions present safety risks to our team, if the work environment is deemed inappropriate, or if there are concerns about payment. Examples include unstable surfaces, aggressive behavior, or properties with hazardous conditions that were not disclosed in advance.

Customer Preparation and Property Access

To ensure efficient service delivery, customers are responsible for preparing the work area before our arrival. This includes moving patio furniture, plants, and decorative items away from windows and exterior surfaces. Gates should be unlocked or access codes provided. Please inform us of any property hazards, including uneven terrain, loose fixtures, or areas of concern. If access is restricted or the site is unprepared, we may need to reschedule or adjust the scope of work.

Pet Safety

For the protection of your pets and our team members, please ensure all animals are secured indoors or in a contained area away from our work zones during service. We are not liable for pets that may escape through open gates or doors while we access your property.

Pricing and Adjustments

All quotes are estimates based on the information provided at the time of inquiry. The final price may be adjusted if actual conditions differ significantly from what was described, such as additional windows, heavier buildup, or access challenges. We will always communicate any pricing changes before proceeding with additional work. Published prices are subject to change, though confirmed bookings will be honored at the quoted rate.

Payment Terms and Authorization

Payment is due upon completion of service unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, e-transfer, and major credit cards. For membership plans and recurring services, payment will be processed according to your selected schedule. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge for services rendered. Outstanding balances may result in suspension of future services.

Refunds and Service Corrections

Your satisfaction matters to us. If you are not pleased with any aspect of our work, please contact us within 7 days of service and we will return to address your concerns at no additional charge. Our 7-Day Rain Guarantee for window cleaning ensures that if rain affects your windows within a week of service, we will re-clean them free of charge. Monetary refunds are evaluated case by case and are generally not provided for completed services that meet our quality standards.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

We understand schedules can change. Please provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may incur a fee. Same-day cancellations or missed appointments without notice may be charged the full service amount. For membership cancellations, if you cancel before completing your plan, you will be required to repay the discount received on your initial service. No additional penalties apply.

Site Access and Missed Appointments

If our team arrives and cannot access your property due to locked gates, absent customers when presence is required, or other access issues, it will be treated as a missed appointment. We will attempt to contact you, but if service cannot be completed, rescheduling may be required and applicable fees may apply.

Liability and Insurance

GOAT Exterior Services maintains comprehensive liability insurance to protect against accidental damage during our work. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or issues resulting from defective property conditions such as deteriorated window seals, rotted frames, or cracked glass. If damage occurs during service, please notify us immediately for assessment. Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

Non-Solicitation

Customers agree not to directly solicit, hire, or contract with any GOAT Exterior Services team member for services outside of our company for a period of 12 months following any service. This protects the investment we make in training and developing our professional team.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updated terms become effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
